Given that people of color drive Texas’ growth, making up 95% of the roughly 4 million new residents the state added in the last decade, advocates say there are ways to overhaul the redistricting process to more accurately reflect the changing demographics.
Tarrant County is back at it again—redrawing political lines just four years after the last redistricting process. This is our opportunity to push back. To show up. To say loud and clear: you don’t get to redraw democracy behind closed doors.
