As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank the phenomenal fellows who have shown up, stepped into leadership, and made a lasting impact across campuses and communities.
As one of our 2025 Fall Fellows, Ennissa Wright embodies what the Barbara Jordan Leadership Institute Fellowship is designed to do: build leaders from the ground up. As President of BJLI’s Prairie View A&M University chapter, she planned campus events, strengthened voter education efforts, and helped her peers better understand their power beyond the classroom.
Through her work, Ennissa showed that leadership is rooted in consistency, care, and a willingness to show up for others, even when it is hard.
Ennissa is one of several incredible Fall Fellows we are proud to recognize. We’ll be sharing more of their stories in the days ahead as we continue to highlight the leaders helping shape what comes next.
